What To Bring To Orientation
2012 Orientation Leaders
| YOUR STUDENT ID NUMBER! This number is REQUIRED in order to have your Hokie Passport (ID) made and is needed for class registration. This number was included in your offer of admission from the Admissions Office and begins with "90". |
| YOUR PID and password! This is needed for class registration. |
| Drivers license or international passport – You MUST have it in order to have your HOKIE PASSPORT (ID) made. This ID will be made on the second day of your orientation session. |
Walking shoes - while a shuttle is provided by the Blacksburg Transit on your first day of orientation, the second day you'll need to walk to your college's academic advising session(s). |
| Comfortable, cool clothes – orientation is casual |
| A sweater/sweatshirt for air-conditioned meeting rooms is suggested |
| An alarm clock – no wake-up service available |
| A fan - There is no AC in the residence hall |
| A towel, washcloth, sheets, and pillow are provided! No need to bring your own |
| Official/unofficial copies of your transcripts, AP scores, and IB scores (if you have them) |
| Pets, with exception to service animals, are NOT allowed in Squires Student Center and Residence Halls. |
